Kelly Ferguson, author of My Life as Laura, was recently interviewed via Skype. During the 33 minute interview, Ferguson talks about writing her book (and her good decision to cut chapters where she spoke as Laura), her bad timing of her book coming out at the same time as The Wilder Life, Wendy McClure, Nancy Cleaveland, and LauraPalooza. Sadly she doesn’t talk more about as suburban kid how she didn’t feel useful to the family and envied Laura being important and useful to her family’s survival which is, in my never humble opinion, the most interesting part of the book.
