I had posted about this before, but when the LauraPalooza people made it as far as De Smet, they discovered that the entire town was abuzz about…The Antique Roadshow. It had such finished up a stop in Rapid City, South Dakota and a number of local people went, some taking along pieces connected with people like Laura Ingalls Wilder and Harvey Dunn. In fact, rumor was that at least one Laura related piece and one Dunn related piece had made it as far as filming. Now not everything they film makes it to the episodes and evidently they had so much they’ve made it a three part stop, so we’ll have to see what we can see. So check your local PBS listings for the weeks of April 22th , April 29th, and May 6th, 2013.
