What photos best represent the spirit of LauraPalooza?
Â
That’s what we’ve been talking about over on the LauraPalooza 2012 Facebook page. LIWLRA member (and conference attendee) Daniel Rabe suggested putting the best, most representative photos from the event together into a slide show, and we all think this is a grand idea.
We will be looking for someone to assemble the photos in the final collection into a slide show, so keep that in mind if you have that sort of technical expertise.
For now, we will be accepting photos here. To keep the number of photos manageable, please send only what you consider to be your five best. If, instead or in addition, you’d like to recommend someone else’s photo, please provide the url of the photo so we can get permission from the owner.
Please note: By submitting your photo(s), you are granting permission for the LIWLRA to use it/them for promotional purposes.

I think it would go well as a Power Point, and have either some nice prairie music and some narration to go with it. Who is good with this kind of stuff?
Also, make sure to submit photos in a photo format like jpg if possible to make it easier for whoever will work with the files.
Fab idea! I’m reasonable with PowerPoint – or maybe a Prezi, even? – because I use it for work. The snag: I wasn’t AT the conference this year, so couldn’t relate the photos to what happened, to write captions, or even get the photos in order. But I’d love to offer some help if I can, maybe working with some other people?
Eddie I bet you’d do a fantastic job. I’m guessing plenty of us will help you ID the photos etc. if you’ll take on the presentation part…
Mildly off-topic, but I’m wondering if the assessments were ever posted here? I never got one at LP 2012 and would still like to submit one. Is there a link?
If you mean the blank form it was posted August 1 in a blog post. Here’s the direct link http://beyondlittlehouse.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/LP2012evaluation.pdf
Here’s the post http://beyondlittlehouse.com/2012/08/01/liwlra-communication-sent-this-morning/
I’ve been wondering how this was progressing. Any news? I can probably spare a few hours to help if needed.
